Easy Winter Tea Recipe - Aphrodisiac

Throughout the seasons which are the most severe it can take much of our energy simply to maintain a reasonably healthy state. When exposed to more severe elements we can become dried out and brittle - both inside and out.

At times it may feel as though there is no strong drive for sex when we are depleted or strained. If you're finding yourself needing to add a pinch of spice to your sexuality, we suggest you try this delicious herbal Aphrodisiac tea.

Ingredients:

  • Apple Blossoms, dried or fresh - 1 part
  • Cacao Husk, dried or fresh - 1 part
  • Common Mallow leaves (Malva Sylvestris), dried - .5 part
  • Shaved Raw Vanilla Bean, dried or fresh (preferably) - a generous pinch
  • Steaming hot water

Steps - How To

  1. Combine fresh or dried ingredients until everything is evenly distributed.
  2. Bring 8oz of potable water to a simmer, and take off of heat.
  3. Add about 2 Oz of the Herbal mixture to a mug or jar (not plastic).
  4. Pour steaming hot water over the herbal mixture. Cover with an air tight surface (not plastic). Let steep for at least 5 minutes.
  5. Uncover and enjoy !
*At the Original Instructions School, we practice consciousness surrounding the ever dwindling and often over harvested medical plant populations of Earth. Whenever we work with or relate to medicinal plants, please keep in mind that whenever possible, our practice is to source Herbal recipe ingredients from a local and abundant source - with gratitude.

There were times over the past 20 years of being involved with the education of birth care providers and humans who are preparing to give birth that I felt I was mindful of being inclusive to people who have C-sections. However, after having been through it, I now see painfully clear how little I understood or provided in that way. It is in the Spirit of expansion that we offer you our newest Original Instructions certification program, My Sacred C-Section. In it we include training surrounding nutrition, comfort measures, scared tissue remediation, physical rehabilitation, general postpartum care, herbal allies, traditional ceremonial practices, and a road map to recovery for those who give birth via C-Section and their care providers.
