Beginning Practícal Spanish (Plus Shipibo & Quechua) for 🌿 Herbalists and Birthworkers: HYBRID Online 30 HR CT



A 30-hour introductory Spanish language course for Herbalists and Birthworkers. With bonus phrases and language learning materials in Shipibo and Quechua.

This hybrid online course includes: 

  • 8 pre-recorded lessons on Spanish phrases for birth and holistic care with Plant Nations. Each recording is 60 minutes long

  • 2 live conversation exercises, 30 minutes each

  • 15 (printable) work book style practicums for integration, memorization, and practical application

  • Printable ebooklet of key phrases in Spanish (plus bonus Shipibo and Quechua) for Herbalists and Birthworkers 

  • Printable ebooklet of Plant 🌿 visual IDs with Spanish names (some in Shipibo and Quechua too)

  • End of course evaluation, and support through acing it

 This Beginning language course will be available to all students who are enrolled on April 10th, 2026 on our Original Instructions School website.

Through this beginning Practícal language course you'll learn how to: 

  • Memorize and know how to communicate at a practical, and basic level of Spanish, opening your vocabulary for learning, volunteering, and/ or working within the fields of Birthwork and Herbalism.

  • Converse at a basic yet effective level in Spanish while advocating for reproductive health, support during birth and beyond.

  • Identify and name in Spanish Herbal Allies who are commonly incorporated into birth and other holistic care environments. 

  • Read and accurately interpret Spanish language which is common to medical forms, notices, policies, instructions, and contracts with reproductive health facilities/ practices 

  • Continuing support afterwards, connecting with reputable language courses for those who would like to go on to learn Spanish, Quechua, an/ or Shipibo at a conversational level.
