Amazon Skills Immersion Retreat 200 Hour CT - Advanced Field and Clinical for Herbalism

  It feels so right to be offering our Advanced Clinical & Field Herbalism Skills Immersion Retreat within Shipibo Territory (the Amazon) of Calleria, Peru. The Indigenous Nations located within the Ucayali region of Peru carry and practice ways of relating with the Plant Nations which are thousands of years old. These types of knowledge about the Plant Kingdoms, disease, and healing which have been excluded from Latin languages still exist within the Shipibo language, arts, and culture.

  During this Skills Immersion 200 hour Advanced Herbalism certification training we have the privledge of learning about and practicing clinical Herbalism through a truly Indigenous lens. 

 The Indigenous Nations located within the Ucayali region of Peru carry and practice ways of relating with the Plant Nations which are thousands of years old. Throughout this 10 day, 9 night Skills Immersion reatreat we will be practicing with and learning from local practitioners and educators including but not limited to;

   * Traditonal Bone Doctor 

   * Herbal Labortories and Clinics who work with patients with advanced disease

   * The offices of local Obstetricians and Midwives

   * Local bontanical gardens and Indigenous land reserves

   * Traditional Shipibo ceramicist instructor 

   * UNIA Plant University of the Amazon 

—> Small Batch Experience! We are currently opening this experience to small groups of up to 7 participants only in each group in order to provide an easeful and enriching experience for everyone involved, along with greater opportunity for handson practice. <--
 
  As always, this experinence is created to offer you a rich educational experience, but also to be a nuturing time for you personally. Your tuition investment includes medicinal plant baths, massage, and other traditional plant therapies for you.

 This Skills Immersion does not include any sort of Ayahuasca ceremonies. However, we are more than happy to recommend safe Ayahuasca practitioners. Likewise, we are happy to assist you in booking other personal medical care you may want (lab work, dentistry, cosmetic, etc) to schedule surrounding your time here in Peru.

   We are partnering with a Shipibo owned EcoHotel (shown in photos) for overnight lodging. Each person will be given their own A-fame cabin with A/C and wifi unless otherwise requested. There is a swimming pool and communal kitchen, although we do provide 3 meals day (included in your investment).

 We have daily fieldtrips to local practitoners, organizations, and educators. All class lectures, clinic/lab practicums, and daily body movement sessions are held at the Original Instructions School studio.

- Your 200 Hour certification training (and certificate) in Advanced Clinical and Field Herbalism, which includes 2 pre-immersion online private classes as well as follow-up practicums and long distance 1:1mentoring with the instructor(s) of your choice
