Look at how it steams ---> nurturing fragrance of Winter herbals steeped in the best kind of Magic - that of Dream time.
Throughout the colder times of the year it's a traditional time for us to turn inward and cultivate our own inner wisdom. The Winter months are a natural time for us as Human Beings to put our energy down into our roots and hibernate with our dreams.
What better a time than during the first Winter's Full Moon (December 7th, 2022) to journey within our Dream Time to find out what secrets or forgotten knowledge are illuminated by the light reflecting off of Grandmother moon?
There are a great many members of the Plant Nations who help with clarifying and potentiating our inner vision and other experiences during Dream Time. Today, I'd like to share just a few with you, in an easy recipe for evening tea which includes members of the Plant Nations who have been known to strengthen and clarify the dreams and visions of Human Beings.
As always, when working with our dreams, it can be helpful to keep a notebook or voice recorder nearby one's bed in order to record any important signs or other messages.
Mix dried herbs together while singing, chanting, or otherwise meditating on your Dream Time - and what you would most benefit from being revealed therein.
Bring 8 ounces of steaming hot water to your mixture of dried herbs.
Pour steaming water over the dried herbal mixture. Cover infusion for at least 4 minutes.
Enjoy on a relatively empty stomach within 30 minutes of when you go to sleep. Whenever possible enjoy this tea on evenings of the Full Moon.

Why is Herbalism such an integral portion of our Full Spectrum Doula currículum?
Pregnancy is a time in a woman's life when she must take up all of her strength, count her blessings, and go to battle in order to bring back her child(ren). She must be willing, just as a warrior .......
At Original Instructions School are persistently dedicated to the quality and truly holistic education of our students. We understand that the basic knowledge of how to recognize, interact with, and benefit from nutritive herbal medicine and foods that are readily available in your area is not the intellectual property of anyone but belongs to all Human Begins.
In order for Doulas to act as a true resource and advocate for mothers and their families we believe that they require at least a basic understanding of how to nourish, support and cleanse the female body in the same way our foremothers have for generations;
with the help of medicinal foods, teas, steams, and baths.
Agua Florida, Colonia, and other such alcohol based holy waters echo the memory of when waters used for cleansing, protecting, and anointing included propriety medicinal blends from the Plant, Animal, and Mineral nations. Pusangas incorporate the energetic blueprints, or Spirits, of the Plant nations into an alcohol and water based menstrum, which functions in ways similar to flower essences, and spritzers.
At times, pusangas are implemented as delivery systems for Ikaros or other prayer songs. Whereas many modern Colonias are now heavily fragrance with perfumes, the older versions gained their special fragrances from the freshly prepared ingredients therein such as Pirri Pirri, Piñón, Jasmine, and Tobacco.
